Introduction:

The PSD-1000 non-contact online laser thickness measurement system can be used to measure the thickness, width, profile and other specifications of any material such as strip, coil and plate. Working Principle

PSD-1000 non-contact online laser thickness measurement system is a measurement system based on optical principle. For this reason, it is essential to keep the sensor clean and free of dust, foreign matter, water and oil. The system can provide continuous, high-speed, non-contact, accurate and reliable thickness measurement.

1.Distance measurement: use the triangle measurement method, send a laser beam to the surface of the test object, and measure the distance or thickness of the test object by detecting the reflective position.

2.Thickness measurement: two non-contact high-precision laser sensors are installed directly above and below the material to be measured, and their beams are irradiated on the same area of the target material. The laser beam emitted by each sensor returns from the measured surface and is received. Each sensor accurately detects the distance to the target material and calculates the accurate material thickness. As shown in the figure, the thickness of pole piece C=L-A-B.

3.Profile detection: working principle The sensor is based on the principle of optical triangulation. The light emitted by the semiconductor laser generator ① forms an X-plane light curtain through the lens ②, and forms a contour line ③ on the object ⑦. The lens ④ collects the light reflected by the object and projects it into a two-dimensional CMOS array ⑤. The profile image of the target object thus formed is analyzed and processed by the signal processor ⑥. The length of the contour line is measured by the X axis, and the height of the contour line is measured by the Z axis.
